The YouTube Studio app got two new features today that make it easier for creators to manage their YouTube channels from their phones.
According to an announcement on YouTube’s Creator Blog, creators can now schedule posts from their mobile devices via the app.
“Now you’ll be able to schedule posts right from your phone so you can set it and forget it,” writes YouTube product manager Jacquelle Amankonah Horton. “Pick the time, date and video type (private, unlisted or public).”
Creators will also be able to see their subscriber numbers with a new subscriber count card located at the top of the YouTube Studio app. This new feature makes it easier to keep tabs on subscriber numbers — a task that previously could only be done easily from a desktop.
YouTube says it has plans to roll out more updates to the app in the coming months, including the ability to use creator hearts and pin comments.
